Dr. Wend von Wietersheim is the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Hansa Group

The new CFO brings to the Group a wealth of internationalexperience / dual function as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of KWC AG

 

Stuttgart, 6 November 2012 – Dr. Wend von Wietersheim is the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Hansa Group and its two companies, Hansa Armaturen GmbH, Stuttgart, and KWC AG, Unterkulm (CH). In his capacity as Chief Operating Officer (COO) he will also be responsible for Finance, Controlling and Operations at KWC AG. The Supervisory Board of Hansa Armaturen GmbH has appointed the 48-year-old to the Group Executive Board with effect from 1 October 2012. Xaver Hake (39) retains his position as COO of Hansa Armaturen GmbH.

After completing his studies at the University of St. Gallen, von Wietersheim, a Doctor of Economics, joined the accounting department of the Mannesmann Group. He gained first experience in management as the Head of Controlling in the Machine and Plant Engineering Division of Mannesmann-Demag in Brazil. After holding several executive functions in the automobile supplier industry in the Czech Republic and Germany he became Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Navigon AG.
